In a safe and non-judgemental environment, we encourage clients to slow-down and step into the present to increase their self-awareness and recognise barriers, triggers and learnt responses that are no longer helpful. Together, we help them develop new skills and techniques which re-build confidence, trust and resilience to bring about positive change.

We are proud that our work in the field of Trauma Recovery* and Breast Cancer Recovery which has been nationally recognised and clinically researched.  So, whether you’re seeking therapy or development, as an individual, couple, or group, our approach is always client-centred.

Supporting individuals and couples.

At Equine Encounters Australia, we specialise in supporting adults who are seeking to overcome trauma, depression/anxiety, cope with grief and loss, or simply improve the way they meet challenges of day to day life. 

We offer an integrated and holistic approach to therapy, incorporating modalities such as Equine Assisted Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Clinical Resource Therapy, Imagery, and Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness.

Our highly successful group programs are designed to help individuals slow down, develop greater self-awareness, trust and confidence in order to deal with day to day situations in a more proactive way, and enjoy life again.
