David Crispe

 Equine Assisted Facilitator

 

David is a certified  Equine Assisted Learning Practitioner and has a wealth of experience and qualifications in human services, education and management.

With an extensive career working with people including; NSW Police Service, NSW Juvenile Justice, TAFE NSW Alcohol and Mental Health Unit, and personal development organsations, David’s natural ability allows him to win the trust and respect of everyone he works with.

Lisa Nye

Equine Assisted Psychotherapist

 

Lisa brings a wealth of experience as both a certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapist and Registered Counsellor. 

Her authentic and natural communication style together with her wealth of experience in Community care allows Lisa to hone in on the real issues and support participants to develop their self-awareness.

Amii Larsen

Equine Assisted Psychotherapist

 

Amii is a registered Psychologist and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Practitioner. She has a wealth of experience working with people with addiction, anxiety and depression.

She is passionate about helping people learn new skills and different ways of thinking to move through difficult times in their lives and is excited to be able to bring her other passion – horses – into this work.

Rick Klima

Peer Mentor and Facilitator

 

After a highly successful, 30 year career in the Australian Army, as a Warrant Officer Class 1, Rick continued his career as a regional manager and trainer in workplace safety.

Since joining the team Rick has attained a Diploma in Counselling and is now studying BPsyc.

Teena is an associate facilitator with EEA and brings a wealth of experience as both a trained Equine Assisted Learning Practitioner and qualified riding instructor.

Teena has the natural ability to put clients at ease, yet challenge their self-perceptions and support their growth.

Set on 37 acres, in a quiet corner of the Hunter Valley, “Kalagari” is home to Equine Encounters Australia and provides the perfect setting for programs we run in NSW – Whether residential Trauma Support Programs, Corporate Development or Personal Growth, the tranquil surroundings allow participants to step out of the ‘rat race’, slow down and immerse themselves in the program.
